Hi! I'm Sophia! I am so happy you are here!
I'm one of the few photographers in Santa Barbara that were lucky enough to be born and raised in beautiful Santa Barbara, California.
My journey into the world of photography began at a young age, thanks to my father, who was not only a local artist but also a skilled photographer. He introduced me to art and photography when I was younger and have been hooked since!
Photography can sometimes feel awkward, especially if you're not used to being in front of the lens. My mission is to make the experience comfortable and enjoyable for you, your partner, or your family! With kids myself, I know it’s important to let KIDS BE KIDS! I try my best to keep things natural, fun, and candid. I want to share your story with pictures. Whether it's documenting your unique love story, showcasing the love within your family, or capturing the most special moments like weddings and engagements, I aim to create images that will serve as cherished memories for years to come.

Things to note!
Clients who book more than a 1-hour photo session are required to sign a contract. All clients, regardless of type, are required to submit a 50% deposit to hold the date booked. The deposit is non-refundable but can be used towards a future photoshoot so long as a 72 hour notice is given.
As a mother, I know things happen, so I will always try and be understanding on a case-by-case basis, however, please note the time booked is reserved for YOU and takes away from other families and couples looking to get their photos taken.
I truly believe in preserving your authentic self! My retouching and editing focuses on minor enhancements to highlight your best features, such as softening skin tones, reducing minor blemishes, and adjusting lighting for optimal results. I will not edit any body proportions. YOU are beautiful and my job is to show that!
My goal is to provide you with timely delivery of your portraits without compromising the quality of the photos. Portraits between 30 minutes to 1 hour can take up to 2 weeks for gallery delivery. Please allow 4-6 weeks for wedding gallery delivery. Wedding clients can expect sneak peeks within 48 hours.
I LOVE to travel, but there may be a travel fee if it’s outside of Santa Barbara Couunty.
